Don’t get me wrong, I’m generally all for (good) change in life, but when I find something that works for my picky hair, I like to stick to it.
That being said, I’m a huge Hask fan since their Macadamia Oil line saved my pretty-much-destroyed hair, so when I was offered a Purifying Charcoal Collection to try, I couldn’t refuse.
Because I color my hair and use a whole lot of products to take care of it sometimes it feels like it could use a good old school detox, you know, like the ones everyone seems to be doing to other parts of their bodies nowadays, and that is exactly what this line does.
My hair was specially heavy after some paint and construction work at home, so I decided it was the perfect time to try this product, and let me tell you: I had never felt my hair so clean before. On top of that, if you’re at all like me, you’ll be happy to know it also smells AMAZING.
Hask’s Purifying Charcoal Collection is free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, drying alcohol, and artificial colors, so I WHOLE-HEATEDLY RECOMMEND IT. While I won’t be replacing my Hask Macadamia Oil line for daily use any time soon, I have added this Charcoal Collection to my rotation for a maintenance monthly use and I’m loving it.
If you want to try it, you can read more about it, and buy it HERE. Let me know what you think?
One of my new year intentions is to take better care of myself, so I’ll be sharing some tips and product reviews as part of this effort. (I received free samples for this review, but my opinion is, as always, my own.)
