I’m an absolute sucker for unusual compositions, amazing use of color, and incredible textures, which is what attracted me about Monica Rohan‘s work.
Monica is an Australian (Brisbane based) painter who gets her inspiration from her rural upbringing in Queensland, and logically, a healthy dose of playful imagination sprinkled onto it.
Her paintings evoke strong emotions for sure, and there is a fragility that can be sensed on her art. It’s hard to describe, but it is easy to understand why she has connected with audiences and art buyers.
I hope you enjoy her work as much as I do, and if you have an artist you’d like me to feature/check out/whatever, don’t hesitate to leave a comment :)
