I have honestly never been much of a fan of multi-step skin care. Why? Because when I’m tired I’m lazy, and have been guilty of just reaching for one of those makeup-removing wipes and calling it a night. I know, bad.
All that has been progressively changing the past year, and I have become more diligent with my skin care, so when MyChelle sent me their #BK3 promoting that it integrates key essential bioactive, high-performing skin care ingredients that perfect, correct, and protect every type of skin, I was intrigued!
Their Beauty Key Three is made by their Perfect C Serum, Remarkable Retinal Serum, and Sun Shield. The last if the only step I had already incorporated into my routine, and even so, this sunscreen is so light and non-greasy, it is my favorite and now to-go sun protection!
The Perfect C Serum has Plant stem cells, Antioxidant Complex, and potent Vitamin C for collagen-rich skin, which in turn help it strengthen collagen and even skin tone. This is the first time I have used a serum that is meant to be applied in daytime and I´m a convert!
The Remarkable Retinal Serum is the first Retinoid I’ve ever tried, and I’m happy to report that my super sensitive skin had absolutely no redness or other adverse reaction to it! (The main reason I had stayed away from retinoids so far) So I’m super super thrilled!
If I have a dislike about this line, and it’s a very small one kinda eclipsed by the results I’ve seen, is that the texture of the serums is a bit gooey and the smell could be nicer (as in a bit less like dermatologist chemist formula you get custom made). But like I said, the results are so nice, I’m inclined to ignore this (and so is my mum, who decided to try this line after seeing my skin just a week after I started testing the #B3K out!)
Definitely give it a go, and let me know your thoughts? I love exchanging beauty notes! :D
One of my last year’s new year intentions that I’m still keeping is to take better care of myself, so I’ll be sharing some tips and product reviews as part of this effort. (I received free samples for this review, but my opinion is, as always, my own.)
